How to find the cellular plan that suits your needs?

It is not always easy to determine which cell phone plan best suits one’s specific needs. Between choosing data volume, the inclusion or exclusion of a phone, prepaid options, and Canada/United States benefits, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and struggle to identify requirements among the multitude of offers and providers available.

On the PlanHub website, we have implemented a quick questionnaire designed to guide you and filter through all the available market offers.

To do this, simply launch our questionnaire by clicking on the “Find your plan” button located in the top right menu of the site.

You will be redirected to a questionnaire that asks a series of questions to better understand the plan that suits you. First, we will ask you some questions about your geographical location because depending on your province, the types of plans and their prices may differ. Plans offered by operators can vary from one province to another.

Then we guide you in your search to define your needs:

1. How many minutes of calls do you need?

Do you want an unlimited plan, or do you not need to make calls? Also, let us know which options are essential for you, whether it’s unlimited SMS, calls and data to the United States, or voicemail.

2. How much data do you need each month?

This question can sometimes be tricky, with choices between 5 GB, 20 GB, or even more. Generally, users opt for 5 GB plans, more economical and suitable for moderate internet browsing, excluding intensive video consumption, for example. Note that you can easily assess your current data consumption to get a precise idea of your needs, avoiding paying excessively for an oversized plan.

3. Do you want to get a new phone or use your current phone?

PlanHub gives you the option to choose between these two options, allowing you to access specific plans based on your choice. Some operators, for example, do not offer certain phone models, limiting your options in terms of available plan offers. If you decide to use your current phone, your search will be complete, and you will be redirected to a list of the best plans that match your criteria.

4. Filter search results

By default, we offer a “recommended” sorting based on several criteria, including the plan’s price, user feedback (via reviews on the site), and the value for money based on the volume of data offered, to guide you towards potentially the most interesting offers for you.

You also have the option to customize this list by displaying the cheapest plans first using our navigation bar at the top of the results. Additionally, you can easily adjust other options such as call duration, data volume, or the phone model.

Could the questionnaire help you find the plan that suits you? Would you like to see other information in the search results to help you choose? Your feedback is valuable so that we can continue to improve our tool.
