Hello. I just got a Samsung phone and, unlike my old device, I find the interface a bit confusing. I can’t figure out how to turn off my phone. In previous models, it was enough to hold down the power button, but here it seems different. Could you explain to me the correct procedure to turn off a Samsung phone? This would help me avoid draining the battery unnecessarily when I’m not using it.
To turn off a Samsung phone, press and hold the power button and the volume down button at the same time until the power menu appears. Then select “Turn off” or “Restart” as needed. Some newer models also allow you to access the power menu by sliding down the notifications panel and tapping the power icon. If you have set up Bixby, you can also use a voice command to turn off your device.
